Our homemade buffets are abundant and freshly prepared in our kitchen daily. Each meal is balanced to meet the nutritional needs of our active clientele. Breakfast buffets includes a main dish, granola, yogurt, fruit and daily specials. Luncheon buffets include a hearty vegetarian main course, organic greens, homemade bread and a local fruit platter. Dinner buffets include soup, vegetarian entrée, seasonal side dishes, organic greens and a scrumptious dessert.


Our juice bar features exotic smoothies as well as our famous home-brewed strawberry ginger kambucha. Our extensive self-service hot beverage bar offers over 30 alluring teas while our coffee bar features organic artisan coffee from a local coodrinksperative. Tea and coffee service is available 24/7 with no extra cost. Additionally, we offer local beers, wine, home made margaritas and cuba-libres, for those looking to relax with a cocktail.


Our kitchen specializes in raw homemade treats including cacao bliss balls, fruit rolls, granola bars and savory sprouted flax crackers. We welcome you to try our delicious homemade cranberry biscotti or our selection of locally made artisans chocolate confections. Baked goods are produced daily. The scent of fresh bread and tortillas is utterly intoxicating!


Bartolo servingDuring our retreat season we serve buffet meals at designated times. In our slower moments, guests are invited to order off the menu. The vast majority of our group packages include 2-3 daily meals. We are happy to pack both breakfasts and lunches to go.

We include a 10% service charge on all cafe bills. Chicken $7.00 and fish $7.00 per portion. Due to popular demand, we also sell our Cafe Sumaya Sol electronic cookbook, featuring the recipes from our kitchen’s international vegetarian cuisine.
