Imagine waking up to the shimmering waters of Lake Atitlán, each day beginning with a stunning sunrise over the volcanoes and ending with a breathtaking sunset. We’ll stay at a peaceful eco retreat near hillside towns, known for its spiritual vibe. You’ll participate in sacred Mayan rituals, connect with nature and local villages, explore colorful markets filled with artisan crafts, and ground yourself with daily yoga and meditation. Take a look at the full itinerary below; we’d be thrilled to have you join us!
Why join us?
Guatemala has piqued our curiosity for years. After a great deal of research, we took a scouting trip there in early 2024. We fell in love with the combination of vibrant culture + epic natural scenery of Lake Atitlán, and instantly knew we wanted to share the experience with a group
One of our main goals in offering this retreat is to create space for you to immerse into your practice, while also exploring in the richness of the Mayan culture. Travel creates the opportunity to shift perspectives and open your heart. We all need (and deserve!) time to retreat and connect.
Enjoy the ease of having all the details arranged for you, be accompanied by not only us, but some amazing local guides, and have fun traveling with a like-minded group. All you really have to do is say yes and book your airfare!
Activities + Yoga
We will practice daily yoga and meditation (suitable for all levels) to ground, connect, and integrate the experiences you have in Guatemala. Yoga classes will be held amongst unique + stunning practice spaces, including an open-air shala where we can enjoy the views of the lake + volcanoes and sounds of nature. Yoga mats + props are included.
Our days will balance relaxation and adventure. Unwind with a peaceful nap in a hammock, take a mindful stroll through lush gardens, relax by the pool, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake – just steps from our property. Tristina Kennedy
In 2010, I left the corporate world behind to share my love of yoga with others. I felt compelled to make yoga my life’s work because of how transformative this practice can be. My time on the mat has helped me develop tools to better manage my stress, feel more inner balance, and find a deeper sense of meaning in my life.
I teach a dynamic and creative style of movement to awaken strength and balance throughout the body and mind. My classes weave in the spiritual aspect of the practice with things like chanting, meditation, and offerings on yogic philosophy.
I am deeply committed to my personal practice, which is the foundation of my teaching. I have studied various styles of yoga, movement, and meditation around the world with an array of respected teachers. I share my passion for travel through retreats in various international destinations.

I have been teacher and a trainer for more than a decade. My yoga practice began over 17 years ago. I decided to dedicate my life to yoga because this practice WORKS!
For as long as I can remember, I suffered from debilitating anxiety and chronic pain from injuries in my neck and lower back. Yoga taught me how to breathe through tension, be less reactive to pressure, and move in a balanced way. Today, I am grateful to say that I have not experienced a panic attack in years, and I no longer feel pain in my body!
The mental and physical benefits of yoga are evidence-based and powerful. Yoga has helped me in every aspect of my life. I am here to teach you yoga in a mindful, innovative, and effective way. It is my great honor to practice with a global community, and I am committed to sharing my knowledge and my heart with you. Let’s grow together!
