Soulful Journeys in the Land of Eternal Spring / Machelle Lee

February 28, 2026 - March 7, 2026

A Yoga Retreat of Joy and Discovery in the Highlands of Guatemala

Machelle Lee invites you on a transformative 10-day, 9-night journey in the spiritually rich highlands of Guatemala—the land of eternal spring. Step beyond the studio and deepen your connection to yourself, your community, and the beauty of the world through daily Yin Yoga and Gentle Flow practices, fresh garden-to-table cuisine, meaningful rituals, and immersive cultural experiences. Your adventure begins with two nights in the historic city of Antigua, Guatemala’s former capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll stay at the elegant El Convento Boutique Hotel while exploring cobblestone streets, colorful markets, colonial churches, and ancient ruins.

From there, we’ll travel to magnificent Lake Atitlán – one of Central America’s most stunning natural wonders – surrounded by towering volcanoes and vibrant Indigenous Maya communities. A scenic boat ride will bring us to Villa Sumaya, a serene retreat center tucked into the mountainside near Santa Cruz La Laguna, where we’ll spend seven restful nights. Enjoy daily yoga in the open-air Tiger Temple studio, three nourishing vegetarian meals each day, and the freedom to shape your time with optional rituals, excursions, wellness offerings, or pure relaxation. Whether you seek quiet introspection, meaningful connection, or outdoor adventure, this retreat will renew your body, inspire your spirit, and open your heart to the magic of Guatemala.
