Roots and Rituals / Ximena Wer & Sofía Lippmann

June 28, 2025 - July 3, 2025

Five days to return to your roots in one of the most magical places on Earth—Lake Atitlán. Roots & Rituals is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and embrace the sacred in everyday life. Through yoga, meditation, ancestral ceremonies, and deep inner work, we will immerse ourselves in a journey of transformation, guided by the elements and the wisdom of ancient traditions.

Nestled in the serene beauty of Villa Sumaya, surrounded by volcanoes and the mystical waters of the lake, this retreat is a space for renewal, healing, and soulful connection. Each day will be woven with rituals—Āsana practice at sunrise, sound healing, breathwork, and Mayan ceremonies—allowing you to realign with your essence. Here, the lake is more than a destination; it is a portal to something greater.

Sofia Lippmann:

Sofi’s focus is clear: to be a channel of light and love.
She is a living testament to the profound impact of yoga and meditation on human well-being, having experienced quantum leaps in her healing, spiritual growth, and mental health through the very practices she now shares. With over 500 hours of formal training and extensive teaching experience, Sofi specializes in Vinyasa, Yoga for Mental Health, Yin Yoga for Nervous System Regulation, and Nāda Yoga, expressed through her devotion to mantra chanting and sound ceremonies.
Her life mission is to share these yogic teachings, which led her to establish Dharma Yoga in Guatemala City—a sanctuary that many urban yogis call home.

Ximena Wer:

Aligned with Rooh’s spirit of connection and healing, Ximena is a dedicated guide with a BA in Psychology and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. With 11 years of personal yoga practice and the last 7 years devoted to sharing the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga with love and authenticity, she brings a deep and holistic approach to her teachings.
Her passion extends beyond yoga—Ximena is a Level 3 Reiki Master, a sound healing apprentice, and an herbalist, exploring ancestral tools that support healing and reconnection with our essence. Every practice she offers is a fusion of conscious mind, movement, and the subtle energy of the universe. In the spaces she facilitates, Ximena invites each participant on a journey inward, always rooted in harmony.
