Roots & River Yoga Retreat: Immerse and Renew Your Psyche and Spirit / Machelle Lee
February 4 - 10, 2023
This retreat is sold out!
Beyond the studio and beyond the mat, dive into new depths of your being and your yoga practice in the spiritually charged highlands of Guatemala, often referred to as “the land of eternal spring.” Immerse and nurture yourself in natural beauty, daily rejuvenating yoga, garden to table cuisine, special rituals, mind broadening cultural exposure and so much more.
This 9 day/8 night adventure will begin in the old capital city of Antigua, built in the 1500s, and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will spend two nights at the beautiful Panza Verde hotel.
After our days in Antigua, we will take a private shuttle to the Sololá region for a six (6) night stay at Villa Sumaya Retreat Center on the breathtaking shores of Lake Atitlan.
Each day will include two yoga classes — one Yin Yoga and one Gentle/Slow Flow — with incredible views of the lake and volcanoes from our own private yoga studio. You will be served three delicious meals each day. Some days will include special rituals, ceremonies and outings you can join. You will also have ample free time to create the retreat that you desire and soothes your soul. Surely, friendships will be forged that will enrich your life in so many ways.
