Born in Detroit and raised in the suburbs, Anna has been doing yoga since she was 8, with her mom and a book they checked out of the library. In high school, she taught herself the Ashtanga primary series, and still draws inspiration from it to this day. Anna fell in love with the full devotional and ritual practices of yoga at Laughing Lotus Yoga in New York Cit, and was certified to teach in 2006 under the direction of Jasmine Tarkeshi and Dana Flynn. When she moved to Chicago to be back in our beloved Midwest and near our beloved great lakes, she received my advanced certification via yogaview.
Anna has been lucky enough to be an almost full-time yoga teacher since then, in NYC, Chicago, and now Milwaukee for the past six years. She’s also lucky enough to have trained and mentored hundreds of other teachers – and to have learned from them in the process.
Bridget is an RYT 500 living and teaching yoga in her hometown of Milwaukee since 2018. As a yoga guide, Bridget aims to create a safe, calming, and supportive space for students to explore their inner world. Bridget’s classes are creative, fluid and well-balanced, with plenty of space to let it all sink in. Outside of the studio, you can find Bridget dipping in Lake Michigan or hiking a nearby trail.
