About Your Retreat Leaders
Green Lotus Yoga & Healing Center was founded in 2007 to bring community-based integrative yoga and wellness centers to the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Our mission is simple: to offer people the opportunity to grow from the inside out. Partners and teachers Marcia Appel and Merry Beth Freienmuth love sharing Green Lotus and its mission with thousands of students, practitioners, teachers, and healers in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. They commit themselves to creating community – sangha – so that students and clients support each other as they explore their individual journeys. Deep friendships and support systems have evolved over the years in the refuge called Green Lotus. The partners own Green Lotus Group, LLC which operates centers in Lakeville and Mendota Heights, an accredited yoga teacher training school, and the licensing division.
