Join Nikki Myers for her 2nd international Y12SR Retreat – this time we are headed to the magical land of Guatemala!
Guatemala is blessed with rich Mayan culture, offering a deep and humble beauty, steeped in tradition, ritual, costume, and community values.
This journey will commence in the ancient, gorgeous colonial city of Antigua, where we will spend the first 3 nights. Here we will immerse ourselves in the cultural, in addition to attending 12 step meetings and engaging with the local recovery community.
One of the Americas’ most enchanting colonial cities, in its day Antigua was one of the great cities of the Spanish empire. The beauty of the city itself is the main attraction, particularly its neat cobbled streets and grand Baroque-style colonial buildings.
For days 4 through 7, we head to the breathtaking region of Lake Atitlan. where we will stay for our last 4 nights. The enchanting beauty and peace of Lake Atitlan, where the elements of the earth are extremely powerful and abundant.
Relax and renew in the midst of exquisite nature and the panorama of three majestic volcanoes. You can swim, hike, kayak, visit local villages and have ample time to rest and replenish, in addition to attending 12 step meetings and engaging with the local recovery community in the nearby village of Panajachel.
Nikki will lead us through daily Y12SR meetings and practices along this adventure!
Please stay tuned for exact dates, details and pricing.
