Ceremony, Restoration & Yoga: A Solstice Retreat at Lake Atitlan / Tamika Caston Miller

June 16, 2024 - June 22, 2024

Immerse yourself in 7 days of slow and low yoga, ceremony, and energy transmissions as an act of deep self care at the cusp of the change of seasons. Expect gooey Slow Flow to start the day, Yoga Nidra, energy work and ceremony in the afternoons, and Yin + Restorative Yoga at night. Everything is optional. Spend as much or as little time in community to give yourself the soul care you need. Steeped in rest, reflection, and the rich culture and beauty of Lake Atitlan, we will step into the balance of renewal, ceremony, and play in this nourishing yoga retreat guided by Tamika Caston-Miller over the summer solstice.

Tamika Caston-Miller is a post-lineage yoga educator and urban farmer in Houston, Texas. She curates nature-immersive yoga experiences in service to collective healing and community repair through the lens of rest, resilience, and integration. Focused on moving those from traditionally marginalized communities beyond marginalized realities through truth-speaking, collaborative work, and collective rest, Tamika aims to build intersectional, intergenerational, multiethnic communities in which radical compassion, agency, and self acceptance are normalized. Her modern application of ancient principles is inspired by her understanding of yoga as a practice of right relationship with others, the planet, and Self. Tamika specializes in trauma-informed Somatic Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.

Special Guest: Kimberly Pence Light

Kimberly will partner with the energy of Lake Atitlan to facilitate group energy work for clearing and deep rest.
